Saturday 22nd January: Playout at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre near Council Chambers (Civic Centre) Magid Drive with Tommy Carter band in aid of the Tsunami Appeal for about an hour sometime between 2 - 4 pm Melway 110 D4 Location

Rosebud Sound Shell on the foreshore Melway 158 D12
approx 12-1 pm (Opposite Sixth Avenue) Arrive before 11:30

Saturday 5th March

Evening Concert at St. Thomas - where we have our practice
7:30 pm to 9:30pm Melway 103 H8 corner of North and Warrandyte Roads, Langwarrin
What great success! 18 members of the band with 64 in the audience. (Its only a small church!). We raised $640 for the Window Fund. Highlights were vocal items including "On the Sunny Side of the Street" from Susan Pascoe and Clarinet Solo "Stranger on the Shore" by Michael Danne. Thanks  to a guest in the trombone line:  Anthony Symmonds - your expert help was much appreciated!

Relay for Life Rosebud Sound Shell

Evening Concert 6 to 7pm or little later
Arrive before 5:30pm
With only 7 oringal members of DSBB present but with the help of many guest players we made a great sound!
Glenys and Neil (Alto Sax)
Colin (Tenor Sax) - usually plays Bari Sax
Michael (Baritone Sax)
Max (Trumpet) - some great solos!
Brendan (Trombone) - Compere of sorts (Bring back Barry!)
Baron (Drums) -Kept us together as usual, Great solos as well!

Graham Bode (Bass) and Bill Post (Trom) who made a special trip back from Inverloch to play with us!
Apologies from Mel (Trom), Ian (Piano) and Barry (Bass) who were at the Inverloch Jazz Festival. Apologies also from Susan (Vocals) Derek (Tenor Sax) Steven Danne (Tenor Sax) Ken, Ray, (Trumpets) Kevin (Guitar) Gordon (Trom) and Geoff (alto Sax) who was sick.
